RFQ-2024-010S

Description : The Council for Geoscience (CGS) plays an important role in supporting the Department of Mineral Resources and Energy (DMRE) through geoscientific research, practical solutions for the mine water related impacts, and participation in other Government forums and the Inter-Ministerial Committee (IMC) on Acid Mine Water Team of Experts (ToE) task team.
Majority of the tasks within the Mine Environment and Water Management Programme (MEWMP) involve evaluating water chemistry (surface, groundwater and mine water) to accomplish their objectives. This is done to assess the impacts of mine water in various areas. To achieve this, water samples are collected and submitted to a laboratory for analysis to obtain chemical composition of the water.

Therefore, the CGS wishes to appoint an independent laboratory for the analysis of water samples. The lab should also be able to provide sampling bottles for each analysis. Please note that further interpretation of the data will be done by the CGS team upon receipt of the results.
Required analytical techniques are listed below.
